
The new Music ICT facilities at Brooklands Middle are built around an audio network providing audio recording and remote control from the teacher's station to 16 pupil workstations.

Counterpoint provided a facility that includes audio cabling linking several rooms to a central recording studio control room, an audio recording and editing studio, and a PC-based classroom.

Counterpoint designed and installed a comprehensive music ICT network comprising of 21 specialist music PC workstations, a dedicated music department server and a suite of network teaching tools.

After a detailed consultation with the school, Counterpoint designed and installed a professional studio control room based around both digital and analogue technologies, inorder to meet the school's stated requirements.

Counterpoint designed and installed a comprehensive music ICT suite comprising a network server, 28 music PC workstations, an audio network with recording & assessment software and music & classroom management software.

Keen to build on their strong music foundation, St. Andrews C of E School wanted to enhance the use of ICT throughout the curriculum, to improve on their already above-average results & to engage more pupils into the subject.

Counterpoint worked alongside other key contractors on the project, ensuring the schools requirements for a networked Apple iMac ICT suite & a Recording Studio suitable for teaching from KS3, GCSE & AS/A2 lessons were met.

Marsh Academy now has a new Music ICT suite consisting of 16 student computer workstations with musical keyboards, a workstation with additional functionality for the teacher & a dedicated network server with RAID data storage & backup.
